Willis C. Pauley 93, of Reading, PA passed away in his sleep on Sunday morning July 5, 2026 at The Heritage of Green Hills. He was predeceased by his wife Nancy (Rudy) Pauley February 7, 2025. Willis and Nancy were married for 72 years.

Born in Reading, PA on February 20, 1933. He was the son of the late William Pauley and Edna L. (Goodman) Pauley.

Willis was retired from Stanley G. Flaggs in Pottstown, PA. Willis and his wife Nancy bought Betty's Originals and ran the business for eight years.

Willis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

When his children were little he would play wiffle ball with them in the backyard and go swimming in the pool.

Willis and Nancy would go to yard sales every weekend in the warmer months to see what deals they would find. They also enjoyed going out to dinner with friends.

Willis and Nancy enjoyed having holiday dinners, and the summer picnics with the whole family.

He also enjoyed going fishing with his older brother Edward in the Schuylkill River and other streams in the Berks County area.

He is survived by his daughter, Nannette (Pauley) Herbein widow of William Herbein, his son, Guy Pauley, husband to Sheri Pauley. He is survived by three grandchildren, Wade Pauley, husband to Delilah Pauley, Stacie Pauley, Christopher Herbein, husband to Melissa Herbein. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren. Willis is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by four brothers, Edward G., Freeman C., Donald L. (Jimmy), Charles K. (Fat), and a sister Esther L. (Pauley) Ulmer.
