Genevieve Wawrzonek

Genevieve V. Wawrzonek, 88, of Reading, passed away, Tuesday January 23, 2018. She was the wife of Edward A. Wawrzonek who passed on April 3, 2004. Born in McAdoo, Pa, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Agnus (Stabovitch) Sabulsky. Genevieve was a member of St. Stephen's Polish National Catholic Church and sang in the choir. She worked as an assembler at Grosfillex until her retirement. Genevieve is survived by her two daughters: Janet A. wife of John Reed of Temple, Nancy J. wife of Michael O'Donnell of Chicago, IL; one son Joseph E. husband of Dina of Fleetwood; six grandchildren, Tara, Nathan, Sean, Benjamin, Danielle, Alexa; and two great grandchildren Liam and Vincent. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018, from 9:00 am -11:00 am with a Wake Service beginning at 11:00 am at the Lutz Funeral Home, 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 am in the St. Stephen's Polish National Catholic Church, 20 St. Stephen's Church Lane, Reading, Pa 19607. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Stephen's PNCC, BH Choir, 20 St. Stephen's Church Lane, Reading, Pa 19607. Interment will be in St. Stephen's Polish National Cemetery, Kenhorst.
