Richard G. Wagner Sr.

Richard G. Wagner, Sr., 79, of Exeter Township, passed away Friday, August 26, 2016 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. He was the husband of Agnes T. "Sis" (Schreiner) Wagner with whom he celebrated 56 years of marriage. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Gabriel and Tillie (Maidl) Wagner. Richard was a graduate of Reading High School and was a reservist for the Air National Guard. He was also a lifetime member of the Mohnton Fish and Game Associaton. Richard was a spark tester and crane operator for Car-Tech for 32 years, where he retired from. In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his son, Richard G. Wagner, Jr. husband of Susan of Florida and his daughter, Diane L. Lerch of Exeter Township; three grandchildren, Melissa Davis, Steven Wagner and Daniel Aulenbach; five great-grandchildren and one sister, Mary Ann Nidzgorski. The family will receive friends on Tuesday Evening, August 30, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 pm with services beginning at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606.
