Shelba L. (Miller) Pfleger, 90, of Wyomissing, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026 in her home. She was the widow of the late James F. Pfleger. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Catherine S. (Steckler) Miller. Shelba graduated from Reading High School, class of 1953. She was a teacher at the Head Start Program in Reading for many years until her retirement. Shelba was a member of the Reading Pagoda Lions Club and was very involved in school activities.

Shelba is survived by her daughters; Coleen M. Ball, wife of George, of AZ, and Lori L. Lyons, widow of Ron. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Stephanie, Coleen, Courtney, and Katherine, as well as her great-grandchildren; Gavin and Claire. Shelba was preceded in death by her son Brian and daughter Karen.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am with services beginning at 11:30 am at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606. Interment will follow at Forest HIlls Memorial Park, 390 W. Neversink Road, Reading, PA 19606. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., has been entrusted with arrangements.
