Garth R. Shannon

Garth R. Shannon, 61, of Stony Creek, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Reading, he was the son of Patricia (Johnston) Shannon of Mt. Penn and the late Garth T. Shannon. He was a graduate of Mt. Penn High School, class of 1977. He loved bowling, classic cars, and motor sports. He worked as a butcher at Redners for many years until retirement.

Garth is survived by his sons; Garth C. husband of Brett of Delaware, Dylan T. of Wyomissing, Daughters; Allison P. wife of Daniel Maynard of Exeter, and Ashley N. of Reading. He is also survived by Grandchildren Jaelynn, Ana, Darryn, Kacie, Alexi and sister Tara Anthony wife of Robert of Stony Creek. Garth was pre deceased by his daughter Erin P. Shannon Lopez

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave, Mt.
