Craig C. Shade, 66, of Reading, passed away on Friday, August 13th, 2021, in Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Pottstown, PA, he was the son of the late Clifford and Jane (Howard) Shade. He was a graduate of Boyertown High School, and worked as a truck driver for most of his life. Craig loved reading and writing, and going for walks.
He is survived by his two daughters, Annie I. Shade and B. Lea Shade, Reading, two grandchildren Theo and Tyler Zimmerman, his sister Bonnie, wife of Earl Redmer, and his former wife Karen L. Shade Shaffner.
A private graveside service will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 390 W Neversink Rd, Reading, PA 19606. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
