Scott A. Blatt, 70, of Exeter Township, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Reading Hospital Medical Center. He was the husband of Suzanne L. (Buckley) Blatt, with whom he celebrated 48 years of marriage. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Roy W. and Pauline K. (Boyer) Blatt. Scott graduated from Schuylkill Valley High School and Penn State University. He was the advertising director at Redner's Warehouse Markets for over 30 years. Scott was a member of Living Faith (Wyomissing Church of Brethren) where he was lead Deacon for the past 4 years.
In addition to his wife Suzanne, Scott is survived by his children; Derick Blatt, husband of Lorena, and Stephanie Numer, wife of Christopher. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Olivia, and Maximus, his golden retrievers; Buddy and Scout, his brother; Dennis R. Blatt, husband of Debra A., his brother-in-law's; Ronald and Denton, his sister-in-law Sharon Brungess, goddaughter Jessica Werntz, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Scott enjoyed spending his free time playing golf, volunteering with his church family, and his love of Golden Retrievers. Scott's most treasured time was spent with his friends and his family. He was an active member of his community and an avid collector of stamps and coins.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am at Living Faith (Wyomissing Church of the Brethren), 2200 State Hill Road, Wyomissing, PA 19610. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church at the address above or Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue, https://dvgrr.org.
