Jacqueline K. (Reinert) Salvatore, 87, of Reading, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Dorothy (Hoffman) Reinert.
Jackie worked tirelessly for many years to provide for her five children. She married the love of her life, William J. Salvatore on November 26, 1977. Together they enjoyed spending time and Sunday family dinners with their blended family, traveling to see her daughter and her family, cruising, and SHOPPING!
She is predeceased by her husband, sons Gene Ramsey, Jack Ramsey, and Brian Ramsey; step-daughter Susan Salvatore; brothers Hector Reinert, Eddie Reinert, and Gary Reinert; sisters Shirley Krick and June Speck; brothers in law Nick Salvatore, Joe Salvatore, Louis Salvatore, John Salvatore, and Mario Salvatore; and sisters in law Angie Caruso and Evelyn Salvatore.
Jackie is survived by her son, Michael Ramsey, daughter Kelly (Ramsey) Carbonara, wife of Bruce; step-sons Bill Salvatore, husband of Lauren, and Mark Salvatore; daughter in law, Debbie Ramsey; grandchildren Jennifer Kremp, Jodi Ramsey, Brian R. Ramsey, Allyson Ramsey, Nico Carbonara, and Arianna and Alessandra Salvatore; great-grandson Connor Kremp, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Chelsea at Visiting Angels and Tower Health Hospice for their wonderful care of our sweet mom.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, with services beginning at 12:00 noon at Lutz Funeral Home Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, Pa 19606. Entombment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery, 2139 Kutztown Road, Reading Pa 19605. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O.
