Juan L. Rivera

Juan L. Rivera, 77, of Reading, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021, in Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Teresa DeJesus, with whom he celebrated 53 years of marriage with. Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Jose Rivera and Carmen Santos. Juan was a member of St Paul's R.C.C. of Reading, and spent his career as a welder for many years until his retirement.

In addition to his wife, Juan is survived by his children Omyra Rivera wife of Luis Salazar, Mari Rivera wife Miguel Flores, grandchildren Cesar and Luis M. Juan is also survived by one brother Jesus M., and sisters Iris A. Rivera and Nellys M. Rivera. He was predeceased by two brothers Angel R., Jose M., and sister Maria S. Rivera.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Lutz Funeral Home, 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, Pa 19606. Interment will be private.
