Rita Lynn (Fisher) Stufflet, 69, of Lower Alsace, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026, at Penn State Health St. Joseph Hospital. Born in Reading, PA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Paul and Bertha (Herbein) Fisher, Sr.
Rita was a proud graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School. She spent many years working as a skilled dental technician at Artifex Dental Lab in Alexandria, Virginia, before returning home to continue her career at Delux Dental in Reading, Pennsylvania. Throughout her years of work, Rita formed many lifelong friendships that remained close to her heart.
Always open to new chapters, Rita later made a career change and became a secretary at Carsonia Car Care, where she became known for her warm smile, welcoming spirit, and meaningful conversations. Rita found joy in life's simple and beautiful moments. She loved fresh flowers, tending to her garden, caring for her beloved cats, and going dancing any chance she got!
Some of her happiest memories were made during luncheons with her siblings and cousins, beach trips with her best friend, and spending time with her sons and family. Above all, Rita treasured every moment spent with her granddaughter, Savannah. Whether they were playing games, making crafts, or simply enjoying time together, those moments brought her endless joy. Rita truly loved anything that brought her loved ones together.
Rita is survived by her loving sons, Andrew Stufflet and his wife, Amy, and Mark Stufflet and his wife, Kristen; her treasured granddaughter, Savannah; her brother, Paul Fisher, Jr.; and her sisters, Mildred (Fisher) Reber and Irene (Fisher) Weand. In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her sisters, Rosie (Fisher) Eck and Jane (Fisher) Hoffman.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Rita's life during visitation on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rita's memory to Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
