Richard G. Britigan

Richard G. Britigan, 95, of Exeter Township, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 in the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth "Betsy" (Weidenhammer) Britigan. Born in Oklahoma City, OK, he was the son of the late Edward E. and Mary Ann (Reiff) Britigan. Richard graduated from Reading High School and Penn State University with his Associates Degree in Engineering. He proudly served his country in The United States Army during the Korean War. Richard worked as an electrical engineer for General Public Utilities, retiring after many years. He was a member of Schwarzwald U.C.C., Penn State Alumni Association, and Mera.

Richard is survived by his children; Jeri Lynne Piotrowski, of Mt. Penn, and Suzanne L. Arcuri, of Mt. Airy, MD. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Clayton Piotrowski, Richard Piotrowski, and Sydney Arcuri, as well as his great-grandchildren; Emery, Cole, and Liam.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
