Kaärin E. Muffy Reinecker (Bishop)

October 12, 1954 — July 2, 2023

Kaärin E. "Muffy" (Bishop) Reinecker, 68, of Exeter Township, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023, in Reading Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Randal C. Reinecker, with whom she celebrated 44 years of marriage. Born in Spokane, Washington, she was the daughter of the late Rodney and Patricia (Rose) Hilbert. Muffy was a graduate of Exeter High School, class of 1972. She received her undergraduate degree from Bloomsburg University and her Masters from West Chester University. She greatly impacted the lives of many young students in her role as a speech and language therapist at various schools throughout Berks County. Muffy was also a longtime active member of Reformation Lutheran Church.

Anyone who knew Muffy knew her "special place" was at the beach in Avalon/Stone Harbor but truly any beach would do! She loved making and sharing her famous gingerbread houses with her students, neighbors, family and friends. On special occasions, or for no reason at all, she was always there to gift you a beautifully wrapped "treasure." She loved kids and animals, spoiling any in her path, especially her two granddaughters. Her blonde hair, infectious smile, and outgoing personality brightened and warmed any room she entered. Muffy was fiercely dedicated to her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.

In addition to her husband, Muffy is survived by her children; Christian, husband of Colleen, of Spring Township, and Jamie, of Exeter. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kathryn and Maureen; her siblings, Charles Andrew Bishop, Matthew Hilbert, Victoria Siekerman; her half-sister, Liz Broussard; her mother-in-law Joan Reinecker; her sisters in-law, Robin Reihner, Roslyn Bansner, Regina Reinecker and her brothers-in-laws, Kip Phelps, Donald Siekerman, Rick Reinecker, Mark Bansner, and John Reihner. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews, whom she loved deeply.
