Philip F. Mauer Sr.

Philip F. Maurer Sr., 75, of Wyomissing, PA, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Sandra (Swierzewski) Maurer, with whom he celebrated 51 years of marriage. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Jacob and Mary (Accordino) Maurer. Philip graduated from Reading High School, class of 1969. He was a locksmith for the Reading Hospital for many years. Philip was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Parish, West Reading.

In addition to his wife, Sandra, Philip is survived by his brother, Dale Maurer, husband of Joan, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Philip Maurer Jr., his brother Jacob Maurer Jr., and his sister Nancy Maurer.Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
