Peggy Ann (Petri) Graeff, 75, of Reading, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Celebration Villa of Exeter, with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of Barry L. Graeff, with whom she celebrated 53 wonderful years of marriage. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Henry J. Petri Jr. and Peggy Ann (Johnson) Petri. Peggy graduated from Reading High School, class of 1969. She was a bookkeeper at various organizations, a role that reflected her dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic. She was also deeply involved in her church, teaching Sunday school at Bethany Lutheran Church in Stony Creek Mills.

Peggy has always enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid fan of the television show Days of Our Lives and loved spending time with her grandchildren in Pittsburgh. Peggy was a very talented seamstress, enjoying sewing and cross-stitching. She lovingly made Halloween costumes for her grandchildren, as well as cross-stitch wall decor for Christmas decoratios, that have now become cherished family keepsakes. Peggy has owned many Cocker Spaniels over the years, with her most recent companion, Spencer.

In addition to her husband, Peggy is survived by her son, Gregory Graeff, husband of Kelli, and her two grandchildren, Ashley and Christine Graeff. She was preceded in death by her brother Henry J. Petri III.
