Pauline M. (Bechtel) Suchomelly, 101 of Exeter Township, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2025 at the Reading Hospital. She was the wife of the late George A. Suchomelly. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Carl W. and Sarah (Manwiller) Bechtel. Pauline attended Exeter School District. She was a member of St. John's Gibralter.

Pauline is survived by her children; Kathy A. Umberger, wife of Joel, and Scott A. Suchomelly. She is also survived by her grandson, Shaun Umberger, as well as her sisters Dawn E. Parzanese, widow of Richard, and Carol L. Romig, widow of Gail. Pauline was preceded in death by her brother Carl Bechtel and sister Patsy.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 390 W. Neversink Road, Reading, PA 19606. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., has been entrusted with arrangements.
