Cynthia L. Paul

March 24, 1962 — July 13, 2023

Cynthia L. Paul, 61, of St. Lawrence, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023, in her home. She was the wife of the late Jeffrey S. Paul, who passed away August 01, 2020. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of Linwood Allyn Yoder and Marilyn Jean (Boyer) Miller. She was a graduate of William Allen High School in Allentown. Cindy worked as a customer service representative at CNA Insurance, later Allstate, for 34 years. She later retired from Goodwill.

Cindy was an avid reader with a special fondness for Dorothy Parker. A special memory was staying in the Algonquin Hotel's Dorothy Parker Suite during a visit to NYC. A music lover and self-described "hippie", she loved all things about the 1960's, particularly Jim Morrison. Cindy's beautiful smile and shining eyes showed her genuine concern for everyone she met, always telling everyone to "have a very groovy day!" Cindy enjoyed traveling, especially to Salem, Massachusetts and the House of the Seven Gables, the inspiration for Nathaniel Hawthorne's novel.

Cindy is survived by her son, Stephen Douglas Paul, partner of Maddy Feinauer, her brother Jeffrey Allyn Yoder, husband of Alicia de la Torre, her nieces Kathryn Lynn Yoder and Olivia Jane de la Torre-Yoder, and her nephew Joshua Allyn Yoder, husband of Joanna Yoder.
