Patricia J. Reeder (Hafer) 90, of Residence at Village Greens, Sinking Spring, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026.
She was the wife of the late J. Rodney Reeder, whom she met in high school and celebrated 68 years of marriage before his passing in February. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late David and Julia (Lutz) Hafer.
Patricia graduated from Mt. Penn High School. She was a lifelong member/elder of Pennside Presbyterian Church.
Pat was a graphic designer for BH& S before opening Reeders Studio where she continued her artistic career. She was a fashion model for Wanamakers. Pat was a professional watercolor artist for over 50 years, winning many awards. Her art was in several east coast galleries. She was awarded the PWS designation from the PA watercolor society. She was the Art Gallery director for RACC for 16 years, and a VP for Berks Art Alliance.
Rod and Pat resided in Whitfield for 43 years & Spring Ridge for 16 years. They loved to travel and they enjoyed golf, and vacations to Ocean City, MD, Hilton Head, SC, and Williamsburg, VA. She enjoyed cooking and baking. Especially celebrating with family!
Patricia is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Miller, wife of Danny, of Ft. Myers, FL, and Patrice Martin, wife of Greg Kauffman, of Womelsdorf. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Trent Miller(Kara), Garrett Miller(Megan), Keri Lituma(Kurt), Dustin Martin(Kate), and Hope Martin, and her seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald and David.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Pennside Presbyterian Church, 253 N 25th Street, Reading, PA, 19606, with a celebration of life beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Friedens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church in Patricia's memory.
