Nancy A. (Hess) Reiter

Nancy A. (Hess) Reiter, 84, of St. Lawrence, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025 in her home. She was the widow of the late Bruce Reiter. Born in Tamaqua, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond M. & Mary Ellen (Lawson) Hess. Nancy graduated from Reading Central Catholic and RACC with her Associates Degree. She was an office manager for numerous different companies. Nancy bred and showed dalmatians for over 50 years where she won many awards. She was a lifelong member of Berks County Dog Training Club, as well as a member of the Dalmatian Club of America.

Nancy is survived by her children; Paul Zimmerman, of Reading, and Rebecca Smalley, of Reading.

A service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 beginning at 1:00 PM at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 390 W Neversink Road, Reading, PA 19606. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
