Mary Ellen Monahan

Mary Ellen Monahan, 60, of Reading, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021, in Reading Hospital with her sister by her side. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late James J. and Elaine M. (Shannon) Monahan. Mary Ellen graduated from Holy Name High School in 1979 and was a member of St. Margaret Roman Catholic Church, Reading, Pa. She was employed as a Leasing Specialist at BB&T Commercial in Malvern, Pa. Mary Ellen was a treasure to many and will be deeply missed.

Mary Ellen is survived by her sister Maureen A. wife of David C. Tice, Wyomissing, her 2 nephews David and James, Wyomissing, who she was like a second mother to, her great niece Olivia, Wyomissing and her half brother Marc Monahan, California.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a mass of christian burial at 11:00 am in St Catherine Of Sienna Chapel 2427 Perkiomen Ave. Mt.
