Michael A. Gantert, 78, of Reading, PA, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026 at Fairlane Gardens surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Margaret "Peggy" (Yoder) Gantert. Born in Reading, PA, Michael was the son of the late Frank and Alverta (Raduazzo) Gantert. He graduated from Mt. Penn High School, and worked as a disc jockey for many years until his retirement. Michael was a member of St. Catharine of Sienna R.C.C.

Michael is survived by his loving wife Peggy Gantert, with whom he celebrated 36 years of marriage.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated beginning at 11:00 am at St. Catharine of Sienna R.C.C., 4975 Boyertown Pike, Reading, PA 19606. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Catharine of Sienna R.C.C. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. has been entrusted with arrangements.
