Marjorie G. Moyer

Marjorie G. Moyer, 97, of Reading, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Zerbe Sisters Retirement Community. She was the wife of the late George W. Moyer. Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Muriel (Cragg) Houck.

Marjorie was a graduate of North Coventry High School Class of 1945. She was a loving home maker, caring for her family for all of her life.

Marjorie is survived by her children, Karen E. Shaner, wife of Larry, Patricia A. Kerschner, wife of Scott, and Jeffrey H., husband of Sherry. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  In addition to her husband, Marjorie was preceded in death by her grandson and great-granddaughter, along with her sister, Eva E. Becker.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024, beginning at 11:00 am at The Mount Carmel Methodist Church Cemetery, 2203 Harmonyville Road, Elverson, PA 19520. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation at 6520 N. Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
