Marilyn B. Magee

April 19, 1937 — September 22, 2025

Marilyn B. Magee quietly spread her heavenly wings on September 22, 2025, in her home at The Heritage of Green Hills.

Marilyn was the loving wife of Robert Magee, with whom she shared 65 years, first as a business associate and friend, then becoming his wife in 1976 to share 49 years of marriage.

She was born in Bridgeport, CT on April 19, 1937, the daughter of Anna P. and Daniel P. Burns. She was predeceased by her brother Daniel E. Burns.

Marilyn is survived by her loving daughter Stacey Santoro, wife of Christopher, and her grandsons Maxwell and Benjamin, whom she adored. They were always there for each other which added to Marilyn's love and appreciation of life. She loved decorating, dancing, shopping, casinos, cruises and entertaining family and friends.

Surviving also is her extended family who she loved as her own, making holidays so special and remembering all of their occasions -- Patricia, wife of Robert Foster; Michael Magee, husband of Marian; James Magee, husband of Kate; Brian Magee, husband of Judy; John Magee, husband of Carol. There are also 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Surviving also is her sister-in-law Jean Burns, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025 from 9:30am to 10:30am at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606, followed by a service beginning at 11:30am at Gethsemane Mausoleum Chapel, 3139 Kutztown Road Reading, PA 19605. Marilyn's charity of choice for any donations is Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), give2.chop.edu. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. has been entrusted with arrangements.
