Marie A. (Misiaszek) Reifsnyder

Marie A. (Misiaszek) Reifsnyder, 71, of Mt. Penn, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Jeanette (Szyszputowski) Misiaszek. Marie graduated from Reading Central Catholic High School, Class of 1972. She exuded love and compassion, working as a daycare teacher for over 30 years, most recently at Reading Hospital Child Development Center. She was a spiritual woman and member of St. Catharine of Siena R.C.C. Marie enjoyed being in nature, especially taking trips to the beach, visiting Longwood Gardens, and bird watching. She also loved reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Marie is survived by her children; Kristofer Reifsnyder, husband of Kelsey, and James Reifsnyder, partner of Joanna. Marie was Mimi to Lincoln, Maisie, Natalia, and Emilia. She was also survived by her siblings; Ronald Misiaszek, husband of Patricia, and Dorothy Hafer, wife of Patrick.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 from 9:30 am to 11:00 followed by a prayer service beginning at 11:00 am at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606.
