Lynne L. (Edmonds) Bundens, 64, of Lower Alsace Township, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, Lynne was the daughter of the late Ellis J. and Jacqueline L. (Kline) Edmonds. She was a proud 1979 graduate of Mt. Penn High School and continued her education at Reading Area Community College, where she earned her Associate's Degree in Accounting. Lynne dedicated many years of service to CarTech as a Manufacturing Support Specialist until her retirement and was a lifelong member of Trinity U.C.C.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Brandon R. Bundens, who was her greatest joy and the brightest light in her life. Alongside her son, Lynne is survived by her siblings: Barbara Edmonds, Cynthia Anders, Deborah Edmonds, Donna Edmonds, Russell Edmonds and his wife, Mellisa, and Robert Edmonds and his wife, Mbinya, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, all of whom she loved deeply and treated as if they were her own children.
To know Lynne was to love her. She lived her life with a rare and beautiful kind of warmth, one that made people feel seen, welcomed, and cared for from the very first moment. She was always the ready to lend a helping hand and the steady presence you could count on without question. She was the aunt who eagerly planned cousin sleepovers, somehow keeping patience and laughter in equal measure no matter how rowdy things became. She treasured the memories of growing up as the sister between two brothers, along with the countless "sister tea parties" over the years, where there was always a room filled with uncontrollable laughter and a love that will echo in family memories forever.
Lynne wore more hats and held more roles in her 64 years than any one person could ever know what to do with, but above all, becoming Brandon's mother was her greatest joy and the proudest title she held. Lynne had a gift for turning ordinary moments into lasting memories, and for making every place feel like home. As a family, we will forever feel the loss of her irreplaceable presence, love, and warmth, but the life she built and the memories she gave will continue to live on through her son and through all who were lucky enough to know and love her.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606. Interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Lynne's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. has been entrusted with arrangements.
