Thomas Archibald Logan

Thomas Archibald Logan, 82, passed away at Reading Hospital on February 14, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born January 5, 1941 to Olive Norman Logan and Dr. Thomas M. Logan in Philadelphia.

He attended Germantown Friends School and graduated as a history major from Dickinson College. He served in the Navy in the Vietnam War. He continued his service in the naval reserves for 25 years, retiring as a lieutenant commander. His expertise in the navy was transportation, so as a civilian continued in that line of work as a warehouse facilitator for Sears, Finneran and Haley Paints, and Kiwi Brands.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Jane Logan, his daughter, Kristianne, granddaughter, Kylie, and his sister Edith Bryan.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am with services beginning at 11:30 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Navy Safe Harbor Foundation, 1619 King Street Alexandria, VA 22314. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
