Leonard V Turzo, 78, of Philadelphia, PA passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at the Coatesville VA Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Antonio and Marie Antoinette (nee Spadafora) Turzo. Leonard made the decision to leave high school to serve his country and enlist in the United States Navy. After his time in the military, he worked in construction in Philadelphia for many years until his retirement.
Predeceased by his beloved wife of 35 years, Mary Anne (nee Rodgers) Turzo, Leonard is survived by his children Kristen Millevoi, Leigh Ann Byrne, Jodi Davila, and Leonard Turzo; his grandchildren Lauren, Danielle, Michael, Nicholas, Connor, Gabriella, and Dominic, his great-granddaughter Ava Mae; and his siblings Aldo Turzo, Elene Turzo, and Laura Turzo. He was preceded in death by his brother Vincent L.Turzo. He is also remembered as a loving Uncle by his many nieces and nephews as well as many cousins.
"Lenny" will be remembered for his warmth, his love of family, his courage, his intelligence, his sharp wit, his tremendous sense of humor and incredible talent at mimicry. He loved making people laugh and he did so often and with great showmanship. Our extended family has reminded us that he always "lit up the room!"
He will be greatly missed.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm with services beginning at 1:00 pm at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, support.woundedwarriorproject.org.
