Obituary

Larry A. Ketterer, 78, of Robeson Township, passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. He was the loving husband of Bonnie J. (Mohr) Ketterer, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Alvin S. and Elsie M. (Hefflefinger) Ketterer. He was a 1966 graduate of Twin Valley High School. Right out of high school, Larry went to serve in the Vietnam War for the United States Army. After his service was up, he went on to work at Grace Mines. He then worked at Horst Ash Painting where he worked for many years and eventually retired from.

Larry was always an active person, he was an avid outdoorsman and spent much of his time hunting and fishing and shared his love of these things with many family and friends. When he was not participating in sports, he was watching them. He loved spending his fall Sundays watching the Eagles, surrounded by his family. He especially loved watching his children and grandchildren play in all their sports.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, Jeremy, husband of Lori, and Jake, husband of Krisie; his grandchildren, Jakob, husband of Cassie, Haley, wife of Dawson, Brylie, and Addison; his step-grandchildren, Morgan, Maddie, Billy, John, Charlotte, and Lucy. He is also survived by his two sisters, Diane Leighton, wife of Robin, and Suellen Stoltzfus, wife of JD.
