Mary M Kolakowski (Goldman)

Mary M. (Goldman) Kolakowski, 93, of Mt. Penn, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021, in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center. She was the wife of Charles J. Kolakowski, who passed away January 13, 2010. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Charles B. and Helen (Ritner) Goldman. Mary graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1945, and was a member of St. Catherine of Siena R.C.C. Mary was a professional dancer with the Holliday Dancer's for many years. She then went on to work for St. Catharine of Siena School, first in the cafeteria and then as a school secretary for over 40 years. “Miss Mary” retired at 85 years of age.

Mary is survived by her children; Michael J., husband of Kim Kolakowski, Exeter, and Cynthia L., wife of James A. Keane, Exeter. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Morgan T. Kolakowski, Rebecca Sinnott, Rachel Keane, and Sarah Keane; great-grandchildren, Ayden Conigliario, Wendy Daley, Gretchen Sinnott, and Evander Sinnott., as well as her sister Ann Carter, York, Pa. Mary was predeceased by her infant sister Theresa Goldman.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 am in St. Catharine of Siena R.C.C., 4975 Boyertown Pike, Reading, PA 19606 Interment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Road, Reading, Pa 19605.
