Robert Harry Kimmel, 79, of Exeter Township, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021. He was the husband of Cheryl J. (Ketterer) Kimmel, the love of his life, with whom he celebrated 55 years of marriage. Born in Minersville, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Harold Kimmel and Mary (Waseleski) Schneider and stepfather Larry Schneider. Harry had a keen sense of humor and enjoyed the simple things - sports, gambling, and spaghetti.
In addition to Cheryl, Harry is survived by the other loves of his life, his son Robert and daughter Kelly.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, Pa 19606. Interment will be at Pleasant View Cemetery, 650 Fritztown Road, Sinking Spring, Pa 19608. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Humane Society, 1801 N 11th St., Reading, Pa 19604.
