Kenneth Houck Jr., 70, of St. Lawrence, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 in his home. He was the husband of the late Linda M. (Benner) Houck. Born in Reading, PA, Kenneth was the son of the late Kenneth Sr. and Ellen N. (Koch) Houck. He was a graduate of Exeter High School class of 1973, and drove truck as a profession for many years, which he loved. He was a lifetime member of the Exeter Township Fire Company [formally the Reiffton Fire Company] and was a member of Community U.C.C.
Kenneth is survived by his son Kevin Houck, husband of Brooke, and his daughter Kristen Yeager, wife of Dustin, as well as his grandchildren Tanner, Conner, Quinn, Carli, and one on the way. He is also survived by his brothers Thomas P. Houck, husband of Debra, and Richard P. Houck, husband of Eleanor, and his sister Louisa E. Dunn, wife of David. He was preceded in death by his brothers Peter Houck and Michael Houck, and his sister Carol Stunz.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with services beginning at 2:00 pm at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of Kenneth's family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tunnels to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306, or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. has been entrusted with arrangements.
