Katalin Vida, 85, of Reading, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023 in Reading Hospital. She was the wife of Laszlo Vida, with whom she celebrated 63 years of marriage. Born in Hungary, she was the daughter of the late George and Teresa (Sprau) Schaeffer. Katalin worked as a beautician for many years until her retirement and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
In addition to her husband, Katalin is survived by her daughter Katalin Dawkins of Delaware, her son Ted Vida, husband of Debra, of Delaware, three grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
