James R. Gaugler, 65, of Muhlenberg, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 in his home. Born in Ephrata, he was the son of the late Judith L. Bione and Albert P. Bione. James graduated from Exeter High School. He was a security guard at Cambridge Lee for many years then worked at Redners as a grocery clerk for six years.

James is survived by his former wife., Tricia A. (Himmelberger) Gaugler, and his son James Dale Gaugler and his girlfriend Rebecca Shupp. He is also survived by her siblings; Jay Gaugler, widower of Heidi and companion of Erika Walker, Julie Kline, widower of Jesse, as well as his nephews Landon and Noah.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
