Irene Keller

Irene (Bieber) Keller, 91, of Oley, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Berks Heim Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Jackson Grover Keller. Born in Oley, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Mabel (Schlegel) Bieber. Irene graduated from Oley Valley High School and Kutztown University. She was a teacher for Oley Valley School District for 9 years before staying home to raise her family. Irene was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church of Oley Twp. She loved painting, gardening, and spending time around her property.

Irene is survived by her son; Charles M. Keller, husband of Susan L., of Fleetwood, her grandson, Christopher M. Keller, husband of Lauren, of Delaware, her great-grandchild, Callie, and her sister Sara Houck.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm with services beginning at 2:30 pm in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606.
