C. Robert Hess

C. Robert Hess, 92, of St. Lawrence passed away January 19th, 2013 at
home. He was the husband of M. Arlene (Quinter) Hess. They
celebrated 70 years of marriage November 2012. Born in Reading, he was
the son of the late Christian L. and Rose S. (Freeman) Hess. A 1938
graduate Mt. Penn High School and a member of Schwarzwald Lutheran
Church and Washington Camp #230 POSofA. WWII Army veteran Technical
Sergeant.
Bob was a kind, patient gentleman always willing to help others.
In addition to his wife, survivors include daughter Nancy A.
Hess-Smith, wife of David A. Smith of St. Lawrence, son Robert L. Hess
of Lancaster, granddaughters Lauren C. and Erin C., and cousins
Margaret D. Freeman and Robert C. Freeman.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
