Henry L. Herb

Henry L. Herb, 78, of Leesport, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, in his home. He was the husband of Lillie (Sweitzer) Herb, Leesport, with whom he celebrated 56 years of marriage with. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Henry L. Sr. and Lillie (Angstadt) Herb. Henry graduated from Mt. Penn High School. He proudly served his country in The United States Navy. Henry was a crane operator for most of his life, lastly working for Reading Tube.

In addition to his wife, Lillie, Henry is survived by his siblings; Henrietta A. Snover, wife of Alan D., Reading, Leonard Herb, Boyertown, and Leon Herb, husband of Mel, Morris, PA. He is also survived by his niece, Katie Donneli, and other nieces and nephews. Henry was predeceased by his sister, Shirley Levan.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Mt. Penn, PA 19606. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
