Ruth N. Head

Ruth N. Head, 89, formerly of Pennside, passed away Monday, November 12, 2012 at Phoebe Berks Healthcare Center. She was the widow of John J. Head who passed away February 19, 2007. Born in Mount Penn, she was the daughter of the late Samuel N. and Jennie E. (Dautrich) Nein. Ruth was a graduate of Mount Penn High School in 1941. Ruth was a member of Trinity U.C.C.–Mount Penn, The Mount Penn Senior Citizens and was a volunteer for Meals On Wheels for many years. She was a service representative for Bell Telephone Company for 9 years. Ruth is survived by: One Son: John J. Head, Jr. husband of Patti of Washington, VA; One Daughter: Nancy H. (Head) Roberts wife of Jim of Spartanburg, SC; Four Grandchildren and Five Great-Grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Phoebe Berks Village Chapel 1 Heidelberg Drive Wernersville, PA 19565. The Family will greet friends and relatives from 10:00-11:00 A.M. Interment private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity U.C.C.
