Jean (Wenger) Hartline, 79, of Exeter Township passed away May 17, 2013. Born in Exeter Township on August 14, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Monroe N. Wenger and Jennie (Wamsher) Wenger. Jean was the wife of David R. Hartline, Sr. for 58.5 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Lori, wife of Ronald Bush, Jr. of Mohnton PA. and her three sons David Hartline Jr., husband of Cindy Hartline of Parkside, PA. Bradley Hartline, husband of Kathleen Hartline of Valdosta, GA. and Kerry Hartline, husband of Angela Hartline, of Greer, SC. She has four granddaughters, Jennifer Bush, Amanda Hartline, Kelly Hartline, and Jessica Hartline. She has five grandsons, Ronald Bush III, JustinHartline, Jonathan Hartline, Douglas Hartline, and Joseph Hartline and two step grandchildren, Kimberly Bush and Matthew Bush with one step great-grandchild, Madison. She has three surviving siblings, Arlene Harner, Shirley Suchomelly, and Monroe Wenger Jr. She was preceded in death by sisters MarianArters, Gladys McMullen, Dorothy Haas, and brothers, George Wenger Sr., and Ray Wenger. She was a graduate of Mt. Penn High School, class of 1951, and graduate of the Reading Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1954. She is a lifetime member of the Reading Hospital Alumni Association. She was a former member of the board of Reading Rainbow Assembly and received Grand Cross of Color. She was a former member of Elizabeth Herr Chapter Order of Eastern Star and member of the Reading Chapter Order of Eastern Star. She was a member of National Camping Travelers, a Masonic camping club, and a former member of the Caravaners (Shrine) camping club with her husband. Jean was a former Den mother, assistant Brownie Leader, and former Demolay mother of Reading Chapter. Services will be held at Lutz Funeral Home, 2100 Perkiomen Ave, Mt. Penn Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 10:00 am. Friends may call Tuesday evening, May 21, 2013 from 7:00pm to 9:00 pm at Lutz Funeral Home.
