Ann Marie (Waverka) Haggerty, 91, of Leesport, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023, in Berks Heim. She was the wife of the late Joseph Haggerty. Born in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Agnes (Moreck) Waverka. She was a graduate of Luzerne High School and retired from Meridan Bank.
Ann was a great Mom and Grammie and is survived by her children; Ann Marie Hayek, wife of James, of Clearwater, FL, Kathleen Kase, wife of Michael, of Sinking Spring, Patricia Bender, wife of Dennis, of Wyomissing, and Kevin Haggerty, husband of Suzanne, of Sinking Spring, nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Rosemary Long, wife of James. Ann was predeceased by her brothers John and Edward.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606.
