Ronald C. Gower

Ronald C. Gower, 68, of Exeter Township passed away December 26th, 2013 in his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Mary L. “Polly” (Love) Gower. Born in Williamsport, PA he was a son of the late Charles B. and Edith (Sayman) Gower. Ronald was a 1963 Graduate of Williamsport HS, and a graduate of Lehigh University with a BS, MS and PhD in Metallurgic Engineering. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church Pottstown where he served as an Elder, Deacon, and a Clerk of Session. Ronald was a manager of alloy development for Carpenter Technology for 23 years until retiring in 2002. In addition to his wife, Ronald is survived by one daughter Gretchen G. wife of Christopher M. Wentling of Reiffton and 4 grandchildren Julia, Nathan, Giavonna and Anthony. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday December 31 at 11:00 am in the First Presbyter ian Church750 N. Evans St. Pottstown, PA 19464. Friends may call from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Inurnment is private at the convenience of the family.
