Steven M. Goerner

Steven M. Goerner, 40, of West Reading passed away December 21, 2012. Born in Reading, he was the son of Stanley J. and Fay C. (Delp) Goerner of West Reading. Steven was a graduate of Wyomissing High School and attended Penn State Berks Campus Steven was an outstanding wrestler at Wyomissing High School. He was a District III Champion, he had the opportunity to wrestle with the PIAA-All State Wrestling Team and was a Two Time State Qualifier. Steven was a loving and caring person and loved to help people. In addition to his parents, Steven is survived by: Two Brothers: Michael D. Goerner husband of Leslie of Aurora, CO and Brian R. Goerner husband of Nicole of Lancaster; One Niece: Riley and Four Nephews: Alex, Josh, Tyler and Dillon. There are also several aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Mount Penn on Friday, December 28th, 2012 at 11:30 am. Friends may call from 10:30 amto11:30 am.
