George C. Koch Jr., 61, of Mohrsville, PA, passed away on June 3, 2026 at Penn State Medical St. Joseph Hospital. He was the husband of Catherine "Cathy" R. (Yardley) Koch, with whom he celebrated 28 years of marriage. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late George C. Koch Sr. and Nancy J. (Martin) Koch. George graduated from Oley High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. George was a Contractor Engineer. He was a member of Praise Christian Fellowship. George had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hiking, hunting and tending to his flower and vegetable gardens.

In addition to his wife, George is survived by his children; Christopher J. Koch, Erik C. Koch, Charlene R. Flick, Courtney L. Boyer, Carah L. Boyer, and Haley R. Koch. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Zoie, Tristan, and Cooper Flick, August Doyle, Jayde, Jason, Aris, and Christopher George Koch, as well as his siblings; Debra Neidert, Patrick Koch, and Thomas Koch.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from to 11:00 am - 12:00 pm with services beginning at 12:00 pm at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., has been entrusted with arrangements.
