Florence Mont

Florence A. (Gajewski) Mont, 91, of Lower Alsace Township, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023 in Reading Hospital. She was the wife of late Thomas J. Mont, who passed away January 31, 2010. Born in Nanticoke, Luzern Co, PA, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Sophie (Grzymski) Gajewski. Florence graduated from Nanticoke High School in 1949. At the age of 42, Florence went on to further her education becoming an LPN. She worked at St. Joseph hospital for 20 years as an LPN until her retirement in 1992. Florence was a member of St. Catharine of Siena R.C.C.

Florence is survived by her children; Michael J. Mont, widower of Jayme M., and Ann M., wife of James S. Guzowski. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Ian, Connor, and Megan, as well as her great-grandchildren, Isabella, Mason, Gavin, Cameron, Landon, and Zoe. Florence was predeceased by her son, David T. Mont.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 am in St. Catharine of Siena Chapel 2425 Perkiomen Avenue Mt Penn, Pennsylvania 19606.
