Joyce Gertrude Fegley

Joyce Gertrude Fegley, 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 10, 2013. Formerly of Pennside, she was the wife Col. Warren A. “Bud” Fegley who had recently passed away. They were married for 52 years.
Born in Pottstown, PA, she was the daughter of John and Gertrude (Oxenford) Bossert. For many years, Joyce was an active member of both the Hillcrest and Antietam Tennis Clubs. And her love of her cats Fritz, Misty, and countless others led to her beautiful cat and feline collection.
Joyce was an active member of the Trinity UCC of Mount Penn. She and her late husband Bud were also active members of the Reading Leiderkranz, and participated in the many activities that took place there.
Joyce is survived by her step-daughter Sandy Fox, and son-in-law Laurin Fox. In accordance with Joyce’s wishes, no memorial service will be held. Rather, the family will hold a “Celebration of Life” for Joyce and her late husband Bud at a future date.
