Evelyn (Itam) Page, 74, of Lower Alsace passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026 at Reading Hospital after losing her second battle with cancer. She was a true fighter. She was the widow of the late Clemson North Page Jr., Esq. Born in Brooklyn, NY on October 2, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Abraham Itam and Esther Figueroa. When she was around 5 years old she moved to Elizabeth, NJ to live with her adopted parents the late Oman and Luvader Omar. Eve graduated from Sacred Heart Grammar and High School. She then attended a community college in Elizabeth, NJ for a couple years before moving to Reading, PA.
After moving to Reading she became a water chemist at GPU Energy for many years. She then moved on from that to work at Chris Roberts Jewelers and Van Scoy Jewelers while she went to night school at Alvernia College where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry. Prompting her to then get a job at Rite Aid as a Pharmacy Technician. Her latest job was with Exeter Township Senior High School as a Paraprofessional. A job she absolutely loved.
Eve is survived by her daughters; Taryn (Boarder) Karas, wife of Jeffrey Karas, and Rachel Edmund, her grandchildren; Kyla and Jeffrey Karas. She is also survived by her step-daughters; Janet Page (Steve Smith), Lindsay Page (Bradley Molyneaux), and step-grandchildren; Nora and Caleb Molyneaux. Eve was preceded in death by her birth parents and adopted parents as well as her sisters Mary Reilly and Dorothea Ann Whitfield.
Besides, Eve's love and passion for her family and friends. She had many hobbies and interests as seen from her many different professions. She enjoyed learning especially, Sciences like Chemistry. She believed there is always more to learn. She absolutely loved fashion like jewelry, hats, and shoes. She also loved singing and dancing. Eve and her late husband Clem were long time members of St. Alban's Episcopal Church and Choir. Eve also took ballet classes at Melanie Wright School of Dance for many years until it closed. She then found a new hobby in bellydancing. She started taking classes at Bellydance By Helena Zahra. She always tried living life to the fullest.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 from 10:00am to 11:00am with services beginning at 11:00am at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 2848 St. Alban's Drive, Sinking Spring, PA 19608. Interment will follow at St. Alban's Church Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, https://www.cancer.org. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., has been entrusted with the arrangements.
