Esther I. Bedard

Esther I. (Seidel) Bedard, 86, of Cumru Township, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026 in Reading Hospital. She was preceded in death by her longtime companion Ray C. Miller, Sr. with whom she shared 41 years. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Mae (Lindermuth) Seidel. Esther graduated from Exeter High School in 1957. She worked as the office manager at Ray's Yamaha and Reading Standard Motorsports for 54 years until her passing. Esther was a lifetime member of Pagoda Motorcycle Club and had been a member of the Penn Coachman Association for four years. She loved traveling and camping, having visited all 50 states and numerous other countries. Esther was a member of Zion Spies Evangelical Church.

Esther is survived by her daughter Gayle A. Leinbach, wife of Ronald, and her grandson Ross A. Leinbach.

She is also survived by James Miller, Curtis Miller, Kenny Miller, Merlin Miller, Mike Miller, and Mary Brickner. She was preceded in death by Ray Miller Jr., Harold Miller, and Frank Miller.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 9:30 am until 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606. Interment will follow at Spies Zion Cemetery, 318 Spies Church Road, Reading, PA 19606. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Zion Spies Evangelical Church, 318 Spies Church Road, Reading, PA 19606. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. has been entrusted with arrangements.
