Elaine M. (Heintzelman) Mingione

Elaine M. (Heintzelman) Mingione, 86, of Limerick, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Zerbe Retirement Community. She was the wife of the late Joseph Mingione. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Edna (Sippel.) Heintzelman. Elaine was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Throughout her life, she always put family above all else, and this was evident in the home she spent her life making and caring for. She was a Past President of the Birdsboro, and Daniel Boone Optimist Clubs, and took pride in volunteering through both organizations, for her community.

Elaine is survived by her son, Scott Stanton of Limerick, as well as 2 grandchildren; Scott Andrew and Jarrett T. She is also survived by her great grandson Reuben Scott, and her brother David Henitzelman, husband of Nancy,

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 from 10:00am to 11:00am, with services beginning at 11:00am at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606. Interment will follow at Berks County Memorial Gardens in Fleetwood, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Optimist International, 4494 Lindell Blvd, St. Louis MO 63108. .
