Earle S. Williamson II

Earle S. Williamson II, 86, of Douglassville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 in the Reading Hospital peacefully and surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Rosemary (Wasch) Williamson, with whom he shared 47 years of marriage. Born in Spencer, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Earle S. and Helen (Starcher) Williamson. Earle graduated from Spencer High School and Marshall University with a Bachelor's Degree. He furthered his education at Virginia Commonwealth University where he obtained his Master's Degree. Earle proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a Senior Global Manager working for the IRS for many years until his retirement. Earle was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.

In addition to his wife, Earle is survived by his children; Jennifer Williamson and Earle S. Williamson III, husband of Stephanie. He is also survived by his sister Janet Hinterschied. Earle was preceded in death by his brother James Williamson.

Earle was a kind and gregarious soul who loved talking with everyone and anyone. Those who met him certainly remember his great sense of humor and compassionate nature. He enjoyed playing golf and had a fond interest in history. His family will never forget the fun memories they made together on their family trips. He was a wonderful husband and father who will be missed by all. His legacy will live on in his grandson, who is on the way, and to be named in his honor as Earle Smith Williamson IV.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 905 Chestnut St., Douglassville, PA 19518. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 390 W Neversink Road, Reading, PA 19606. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the church memorial fund at the above address.
