Dorothy D. (Davis) Breitegam, 98, of Lower Alsace Twp., passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023 in Lauderdale Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Reading, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Manda (Ucynski) Davis. Dorothy graduated from Mt. Penn High School and was a member of First Baptist Church of Reading. Dorothy was the secretary for Schwarzwald Cemetery for many years until her retirement.
Dorothy is survived by her children; Robert A., husband of Joan Breitegam and Wendy B. (Breitegam) Hegeman, as well as her grandson Steven Hegeman.
Dorothy is predeceased by her brother Jack R. Davis.
Services will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606. Interment will follow at Schwarzwald Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Helping Harvest, 117 Morgan Dr. Reading, PA 19608. Lutz Funeral Home Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
