Donna J. (Wysock) Sauppe

Donna J. Sauppe of Blandon, PA, passed away at St. Josephs/Penn State Hospital, Reading, PA, on Friday, June 13, 2025.

Born in Shamokin, Northumberland County, on November 26, 1931, the daughter of the late Stanley W. Wysock and Anna May (Gutowski) Wysock. Donna was a Licensed Practical Nurse for 52 years, retiring from Sacred Heart Villa in 2010. Prior to that, she had worked at St. Joseph Hospital, Leader Nursing, Berks Heim, as well as several years in Private Nursing services. A graduate of the Muhlenberg Practical Nursing School as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Donna served as the President of the Pennsylvania Practical Nursing Association as well as on the staff of the Health Care Pilot Studies Program under Governors Leader, and Shapp, and locally, Reading Mayor John Kubacki. She had also been a Democratic Committeewoman of Lower Alsace Township, as well as a member of Lower Alsace Election Board. Donna also was a Girl Scout and Brownie Leader of Lower Alsace Township.

Donna is survived by two daughters; Donna Lyn, wife of John Kaisoglus, North Carolina, and Suzanne Elizabeth, wife of Timothy Steinrock, Sinking Spring. She is also survived by four grandchildren; Ryan Kaisoglus, husband of Linda Liang, Mark Kaisoglus, husband of Lauren, Michael Seidel, partner of Dina, and Stephanie Seidel. In addition, she has been blessed with five great-grandchildren; Celia, Brett, Anthony, Cameron, Alyssa, two great-great-grandchildren; Greyson and Weston, along with several nephews and nieces. Donna was predeceased by her son Richard W., daughter-in-law Donna Callodonato, and sisters Lillian and Leona.

A memorial service will be held at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606 on Saturday, June 21, 2025, with friends and family invited to visit from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with services beginning at 11:00 AM.
