Nancy Detemple

Nancy J. DeTemple, 83, of Mount Penn, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 in Penn State Health- St. Joseph Medical Center. She was the wife of Donald T. DeTemple. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Edna (Reis) Rhoads. Nancy was a graduate of Mount Penn High School in 1950 and a graduate of Penn Hall in Chambersburg. She was a hairstylist for many years and later worked for the state in the unemployment agency until her retirement. In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by: one son, Brian S. DeTemple husband of Vicki of Reading and one daughter, Holly L. widow of Dennis Rohrbach of Mount Penn; two grandchildren, Stephanie Reed and Brittany Moose and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 10:00-11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606.
